Many of us have prayers that are not answered yet, overwhelming trouble, health issues, and family issues, and the process seems long and hope is dwindling. But trust God! He is faithful and He will bring HIS plans to fruition!
(Proverbs 19:21) says “Many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.”
It is God's plans that bring us victory, it is God's plans that prevail and it is God's plans that work out better than we can imagine and much better than ours. So, why are we being so impatient with God?
(Jeremiah 29:8-14) "For this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: “Do not be deceived by the prophets and diviners among you, and do not listen to the dreams you elicit from them. For they are falsely prophesying to you in My name; I have not sent them, declares the LORD.” For this is what the LORD says: “When Babylon’s seventy years are complete, I will attend to you and confirm My promise to restore you to this place. For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the LORD, and I will restore you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and places to which I have banished you, declares the LORD. I will restore you to the place from which I sent you into exile.”
How long did He wait for you to receive Jesus? He was patient with you; so why are you being impatient with Him?
(II Peter 3:9) "The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
(Proverbs 3:5-6) “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
This should help you to trust God in a greater way and to grow closer to Him. As you learn to NOT make Him line up with our plans but listen to HIS voice, not our flesh and not the anxiety of the enemy wanting us to rush the process, but truly listen to His voice, you will stay content, stay in peace and of the joy of the Lord. Satan wants you to rush the process and that is getting out of God's will. Why does He say, "I know the plans I have for you," if He wanted it to be your plans?
The Bible says in John 10:27, "My sheep know My voice and they follow Me?"
Are you following it even when it is hard? God's plans give victory, restoration, exceedingly, and abundantly above all we can think or ask, not ours.
(Ephesians 3:20) "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."
Are you trying to rush and make YOUR plans happen? Or are you choosing God, His way is best, His way is victorious, His way brings restoration and complete restoration.
The choice is yours!
(Deuteronomy 30:19-20) "I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live, and that you may love the Lord your God, obey Him, and hold fast to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land that the LORD swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
