Perception-Seeing Through the Eyes of Truth

Everyone on earth will face trouble in life at one time or another.  Job loss, severe illnesses, wayward family, overwhelming and unexpected bills, relationship issues, and more.

Our true victory is in the peace we have when we trust God; when we know, that we know that we know that victory is promised, and will happen!

“You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)

Satan wants us worried, afraid, angry, impatient, depressed, full of doubt, hopeless, and turning away from God.

Victory is when, even though the road may be long, no end in sight, and you still have the Joy of the Lord and His Peace!  It is when you do NOT fall for Satan’s tactics, but you trust God anyway!

“If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.” (Isaiah 7:9)

Standing firm says that you know that you will receive the victory, and you know that your Heavenly Father, El Shaddai, will make it happen, but in HIS time, not ours.  You still believe!

“With God, we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.” (Psalm 60:12)

“For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword, Nor did their own arm save them; But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance, Because You favored them.” (Psalm 44:3)

Your perception, how you CHOOSE to see things, is everything!  We must choose to see things through the eyes of faith, the eyes of truth, God’s truth, and then stand on it, period, no matter what comes our way or what negative emotions Satan tries to saddle us with. You do not have to own those negative emotions!  Why would you want to anyway?  Wouldn’t you rather have the joy of the Lord?  Be immovable, trust God, and stay happy!  Isn’t that a better choice?  Your promise and your answered prayers will manifest!

“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” (I Corinthians 15:58)

In II Kings 6, the Syrians were coming against the Israelites, and it appeared that they were surrounded. Even Elisha’s servant did not see what Elisha saw through faith.  Elisha prayed and asked the Lord to open his eyes, and then he saw!

“Therefore he sent horses and chariots and a great army there, and they came by night and surrounded the city. And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.  ”And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” (II Kings 6:14-17)

God gave them victory, and He shows no favoritism!  What He did for them, He will do for you.

Ask God to open your eyes to the things He needs you to see, to the truth of your situation, and to the victory He has promised you!

Ask Him to give you the proper perception of your situation.  Trust and do not be afraid and He will smooth the path before you, keep you strong, and bring you victory!

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
