LET YOUR WORDS TAKE FLIGHT

(Proverbs 18:21) “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Speak God’s Words of promise over your life, your family and your problems and God will give them wings to take flight! (John 6:63) “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.” Just as God spoke in the beginning of all creation and it came to be; so will His written word found in the Bible. Search His promises; speak them out and God will send His angels out to bring them to pass. (Hebrews 1:14) “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

Instead of dwelling on the problem which only gives glory to Satan and is actually helping him do his job, give the angels something to work with instead!

(I Peter 5:8) “Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

(Hebrews 1:14) “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?”

Start speaking words of faith and give glory to God instead! He will bring the promises you speak to pass; they are His words! (Psalm 138:2) “For You have exalted above all things Your Name and Your Word.”

Peter walked on water until he focused on his surroundings, then he started to sink. (Matthew 14:28-30) “Lord, if it is you, ‘Peter replied, ‘tell me to come to You on the water.’ ‘Come,’ He said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ‘Lord, save me!”

Focus on Jesus instead, (Hebrews 12:2-3) “Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart;” then you will walk through your trials victoriously and not set up housekeeping! (Psalm 23:4) “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff; they comfort me.”

Believe in the love and faithfulness of God and trust in His promises; He says, “I will not fail or forsake you.” It may be in a different timetable than what you “think” should happen but you must remember that He is God and you are not! He knows the end from the beginning and He knows what it will take to answer your prayer; who He needs to use to help bring them to pass and the timetable that those particular people are on as well. Sometimes there is more involved in answering your prayers than just you and God. (Isaiah 55:8-9) “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,’ declares the Lord. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.”

If God says something in His word then by the love He has already shown in providing atonement for your sins, trust Him to bring it to pass. So, let your words take flight just like setting off a bunch of balloons. Speak His promises, give the angels something to work with and be patient and watch God bring it to pass.

(Isaiah 55:11) “So is My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty; but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” Speak God’s promises from His word and “streams of living water will flow from within” you and the words you speak will take flight.
